I read a lot as a child with the encouragement of my mom, who was an elementary teacher, and my actual teachers at school. This was my favorite book; I read it over and over when I was young. My second grade teacher even gave me a prize for being able to spell the title!

Every Friday night at my house when I was a child we would have movie/ice cream nights. Fridays were my favorite night of the week because of it, and I would always choose Aladdin because it was my favorite movie.

My younger sister and I colored all the time when we were young. We would always come home from school, finish our homework, and then start coloring and drawing in the endless amounts of coloring books that we had. We weren't allowed to watch much television, which looking back was a good thing because our time was much better spent drawing than just sitting in front of the tv.

I took this picture to show where my crayons are today, sitting in my box of school supplies. I hardly ever use them anymore, compared to what I used to. I guess with age my interests have changed, because I don't enjoy it as much and I don't have as much time for it unfortunately.
