Tatum_Collect Objects From Childhood

I have always loved art, even as a child. I have always enjoyed being creative in any way possible. These utensils remind me of how much I love creating different pictures with all kinds of different methods. In the picture, there are markers, crayons, colored pencils, pastel chalks, and pencils.

This is a stuffed bunny that I have had ever since I was a baby. It was my first stuffed bunny ever. I have always loved rabbits and this stuffed bunny reminds me of that. The bunny has a sweatshirt on that I actually wore when I was little. My mother made it and I wore it a lot. This reminds me of how much my mother loves and cares for me. It is a picture of the stuffed bunny and it says "Tatum's first 'bummy.'" When I was young, that is how I pronounced bunny.

This object reminds me of growing up on an island and working at a waterslide during the summer months. I love being in the sun and at the beach. Working at the waterslide was always a blast and I wish I still could each summer. The owners were like my second family and treated me as such.

The thought of throwing away my art utensils brings a sense of sadness over me. I hate thinking of perfectly good supplies going to waste when there are so many people out there with nothing. I would never want to throw anything like these away. Seeing them in the trash makes me think about throwing away art and the creativity that these utensils help to create.
